🌧️

When to Go

East Africa (July–Oct for migration), Southern Africa (May–Oct dry season), year-round for Botswana Delta. The dry season concentrates wildlife around water sources for easier sightings.

🏥

What's Included

Virtually all lodges include game drives, all meals, selected drinks and guiding. Check whether laundry, spa treatments, specialist activities and conservation levies are included before comparing prices.

✈️

Getting There

Most top lodges require a charter flight. Budget for $300–800 extra per person for bush transfers. Charter flights are part of the experience — the aerial views of the wilderness alone are worth the cost.
