Ashford Castle

Amberley Castle
With a portcullis that still lowers each evening and a working drawbridge spanning the original moat, Amberley Castle is one of the most intact medieval fortresses in England. Schloss Elmau
A dramatic castle-palace in a secluded Bavarian Alps valley, Schloss Elmau is Germany's most celebrated luxury retreat โ and one of the world's most politically prestigious. It hosted the G7 summits of 2015 and 2022, with Barack Obama and Olaf Scholz among its recent guests. Inverlochy Castle
